REACHING FORWARD:
Achieving sustainability in gifted education

National Conference, Rotorua New Zealand, 13 – 15 March 2009
Keynote speakers: Francoys Gagne & Kate Niederer

CALL FOR PAPERS

Gifted education everywhere in the world has a history of fluctuating support. Yet if gifted children are truly to have their needs met, we must find a way of weaving gifted education permanently into the very fabric of our education system.

Following on from the very successful Rising Tides conference in New Zealand in 2006, this conference will explore this challenging and crucial task through a wide range of seminars, workshops and debates.

Researchers, educators and other professionals interested in submitting a proposal are warmly invited to contact the conference organisers for full details and a proposal submission form.

  • Email your request for the call for papers to reacheducation@xtra.co.nz.
  • Please note that the closing date for submission of proposals is August 22.

NB The conference website will be available shortly at www.giftedconference2009.org

Enrolment Dates for Online Course
Enrolments for the REACH Certificate of Effective Practice in Gifted Education open on the 1st of November each year and close on the following March 15th.

For full details, see our “Online Course” page.
